Monochrome Productions is run by Tom Gittins - a young UK producer with a reputation for pleasing the client. Never afraid to push the envelope, disregard trends and traditions wherever appropriate in favour of occasional unorthodox methods in order to get the performance out of the individual. His personal endeavour is always to find the right balance responding to the personal desires of the artist, and to deliver a finished product that meets the requirements of genre and broadcast standards. Well versed in all modern production methods and professionally trained in using Apple Logic Pro and Digidesign/Avid Pro Tools, he works quickly and efficiently.

An experienced musician – a background as a touring performer, composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has given Tom a sympathetic and versatile ear to all genres, providing a range of services from recording, mixing and mastering, through to session tracking (guitar / bass / drums), programming, composition/songwriting, arrangement and orchestration. These skills combined with his buoyant humour and personable approach (Tom is also a qualified teacher) to all projects has made all clients trust Tom as the additional creative force in the studio, always returning for further work.

In addition to currently working freelance, providing both studio and mobile audio production services in the UK, Tom is also working as main producer for UK label M.A.S. records, patronised by none other than Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, and is available for international/US work available through Brady Street Records in Tulsa Oklahoma.
